Job satisfaction and organizational climate are variables linked to the well-being of individuals in their workplace, which directly impacts their performance, the objective of this work is to know the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational climate of workers in a clinical laboratory. The methods that we used are cross-sectional, descriptive, and quantitative study. Sample of 64 workers. Organizational climate and job satisfaction were measured with instruments with five indicators each and Likert-type scale responses. Statistical analysis was performed using canonical correlation of the average response in each indicator. The relationship of the canonical dimension of job satisfaction related to the organizational climate with variables of age, seniority, position, and shift was evaluated using logistic and ordinal regression. Correlation was found in the first canonical pair (ρ=0.88, p<0.001). The most important indicators were objectives of the institution, interpersonal relationships, and quality at work for the organizational climate, and satisfaction with the relationship with superiors, satisfaction with recognition and satisfaction with the physical conditions at work. A difference is found in job satisfaction associated with the organizational climate in the shift (p=0.01) and position (p=0.01). In conclusión, there is a statistically significant correlation between the indicators of the job satisfaction variables and organizational climate.
