The "green" supply chain (GSC) seeks to implement a sustainable approach to an organization's operations, so that it can reduce its
environmental impact, however, to successfully implement GSC, the organization's human capital needs to understand and appreciate "green"
culture. There is a lack of GSC-related studies in Mexico, so we seek to provide an exploratory perspective. This study has the following research question: which are the factors that are related to organizational performance?, from which two objectives arise, on the one hand, to know the perception that Mexican employees have about GSC and "green" human capital (GHC) in their
organizations, and, on the other hand, to verify whether there is a relationship between GSC and GHC with the environmental, financial and operational performance of Mexican organizations. The results show that employees
consider that the implementation of these two elements is poor, because most of the questions had a low average, in addition, they were able to partially verify the assumptions raised, in terms of the relationship of CSV and Senior Management with organizational performance, and the relationships between environmental performance and CHV and Involvement variables.
