The aim of this article is to bring abouthe typical mechanisms of control in the administration, its application to public management and the new concept of social regulation. To obtain this, the author briefly mentions the basic concepts of control in a private context,he control mechanisms in the public sector, and the shaping of the social regulation asa means of public participation.
