There are several approaches to define ethical culture and how it could be evaluated in the environment, research on ethical culture has referred to this concept with different names; as well as the origin and study of various theories, models and empirical studies, considering those organizational factors that can affect the ethical culture of employees, the importance of these factors and their relationship. The objective of this study is to develop and determine the validity and reliability of a measurement instrument that measures these organizational factors of employees in the context of retail companies. The development of the measurement instrument included the literature review of the variables, five independent and one dependent, the operationalization of the variables, the content validity, the reliability evaluation of the instrument using Cronbach's Alpha statistical method and with the purpose of contrasting the data, a factor analysis was performed under the component method supported by the factorial loading. The results indicate a relevant and reliable measurement instrument that can be applied on a larger scale since the validation performed allows such certainty, so this measurement instrument can be used in future research in the context of organizations
