The objective of this work is to identify the macroeconomic determinants that various authors describe in the literature that affect Mexican stock return. The review and analysis of the literature was carried out to identify these determinants considering two stages: in pre-covid-19 and post-covid-19 periods. The research was carried out with a non-experimental descriptive design, supported by documents published in recognized journals. The results show that the macroeconomic variables identified in the pre-covid-19 period were inflation, industrial production, unemployment rate, peso/dollar exchange rate, international oil price, interest rate, Global Indicator of Economic Activity, and imports. While in the post-covid-19 period were aggregate demand, aggregate supply, unemployment rate, oil price, exchange rate and interest rate.
